Nourish your body with what it needs for the long game and in a way that works with your own rhythms and schedule.
Your workouts in your 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and beyond should work with your body not against it and help your body stay resilient for an active lifestyle while remaining true to your body’s needs . Skip the bootcamps and start to enjoy your workouts and work smarter not harder.
I started on-line classes and privates 6years ago to make exercise easier to fit into our busy schedules and to help people build a routine. I have a background in yoga, Pilates and somatic practices but also see the importance in working on strength -strength in in muscles , bones and even tendons.
Athletes and strong movers continue moving well as they get older if they have a strong sense of body awareness and smart training practices.. Just sticking to boot camps and general group fitness classes won't work. We need a more sophisticated approach. And even better if it's designed specifically for you!
My goal is to help you find your own best way of of getting stronger and feeling more centred and confident in a safe and friendly environment.
My classes combine therapeutic movement with a bit of athleticism so you can get the best of both worlds no matter where you are on your journey.
Many of the people I work with actually have told me they thought they disliked all things “fitness” because of previous negative experiences -until they try one of my classes and discover movement is enjoyable and for everyone! It’s not about comparing ourselves to others but to do it just for ourselves and our future self.
Replace punishing workouts with smarter workouts using an approach grounded in biomechanics but interwoven with mindful movement will help you build a well rounded routine. The best workout or movement practice is the one you stick to.
I share what I believe will give you the best results using current research my own training, intuition and exploration over the past 30 plus years.
My ultimate goal is to share with you the best tools and techniques I’ve found .for sustainable workouts that build resilience. I draw from multiple systems and update outdated information with new and more useful techniques as I learn it.
Because of my own eclectic journey in the movement arts and because I question and don’t accept things at face value, I remain open to new ideas, concepts and can’t wait to share them with you! I started with yoga, then went deep into Pilates and now find myself enjoying martial arts for its health benefits.
At home exercise options are a convenient way to fit your fitness and self-care needs into your busy life .

I’ve been taking Adrienne’s classes faithfully for well over a decade and she never disappoints. Even after all this time no two classes are the same, so you’re never bored.”
-Denise D
I have been a dance and fitness professional for over 35 years and it's not easy for me to find classes that both inspire and challenge me. Adrienne has a manner that makes her classes enjoyable and thoughtful. I highly recommend training with Adrienne particularly if you're bored with the typical fitness class.
-Eileen Birks
Every class is a little different, and I learn something new, or I’m challenged in a different way. I have learned so much about my body and its little quirks and dramatically improved my strength, balance, and flexibility."

"Adrienne will kick your butt without you really knowing. “.
- Whitney Alexander
Adrienne’s verbal cues for each exercise were so helpful that I was able to have confidence that I was performing the exercise correctly. This sets Adrienne apart from many other instructors, whether online or in the studio.
